Feast of San Lorenzo in Aidone
The Feast of San Lorenzo in Aidone takes place on August 10th, the day of the liturgical anniversary, and is a celebration much attended by the population as San Lorenzo is the patron saint of the village.
The solemn celebration takes place on the day of the feast Eucharistic, the traditional Procession of the Simulacrum of the Saint through the streets of the village which ends with the shooting of fireworks.
On the occasion of the celebrations, musical and entertainment shows are organised.
