The Feast of San Pellegrino in Caltabellotta, Patron Saint of the village and first Triocalitano Bishop, takes place every year on August 18 in the suggestive scenery of the hermitage of the same name.
On the occasion of the festivities, the procession of the simulacrum of the Saint takes place, the evocative torchlight procession with the relics of the saint, and a livestock fair is organized to commemorate the peasant civilization that the town once was and continues to be today.
The celebrations in honor of San Pellegrino begin on August 16 with the triduum in honor of the Patron Saint. The torchlight procession that starts from the Carmine church where the precious relic of the saint is kept is very suggestive and is carried in procession to the hermitage.
The celebrations culminate on 18 August. The day of celebration begins with the traditional tour of the musical band through the streets of the town. In the morning, a solemn Eucharistic celebration takes place at the hermitage, in the evening the traditional procession of the simulacrum of the Saint takes place through the streets of the town.
During the holidays, numerous musical events and entertainment shows take place.
