Feast of San Sebastiano in Palazzolo Acreide
The Feast of San Sebastiano in Palazzolo Acreide, protector of the town, takes place on January 20 and is then repeated on August 10 of each year when the great summer party takes place on the occasion of which religious rites alternate with cultural and folkloristic events.
One of the most evocative moments of the Feast of San Sebastiano in January is the unveiling of the simulacrum, which takes place on the evening of January 19 in the Basilica of San Sebastiano. Another traditional moment is the blessing of the cuddure, the donuts of bread, and the laurel twigs to be distributed to the faithful, which takes place on 20 days in the churchyard of the Basilica of San Sebastiano.

In honor of San Sebastiano, San Sebastiano bread will be eaten. At the end of each Holy Mass starting from 7.30 am the cuddure of the Protector of Palazzolo Acreide will be blessed
