Feast of San Vito in Regalbuto

The Feast of San Vito in Regalbuto takes place in the month of August and is a very heartfelt and popular celebration as the cult of the Patron Saint San Vito is very ancient and rooted among the citizens.
The celebrations in honor of the Saint Patron Saints open with the traditional Laurel Procession in which the faithful take part holding bundles of laurel and men on horseback. The procession ends with the solemn blessing.
The following day the solemn Procession with the Relics of the Patron Saint takes place.
The culminating moment of the festival is the Solemn Eucharistic Concelebration and the< b>solemn Procession of the Simulacrum of the Patron Saint through the streets of the village.
A rich program of collateral events is organized on the occasion of the celebrations.
