Feast of Santa Barbara in Francavilla di Sicilia
The Feast of Santa Barbara, Patron Saint of Francavilla di Sicilia, is celebrated on 4 December and includes a rich program of events.
On the day of the feast, preceded by a triduum of preparation, the Solemn Procession of Simulacrum of Saint Barbara who is accompanied, as per tradition, by the faithful and by little girls wearing the clothes of Saint Barbara and carrying the cross and the palm of martyrdom in their hands.
On the occasion of the celebrations in honor of Santa Barbara, the zootechnical fair is traditionally organised, which includes the exhibition and sale of animals, agricultural equipment and machinery, handicraft products and typical products

Distribution of the blessed biscuits of Saint Barbara.
18:00 Solemn Procession of the Simulacrum of Santa Barbara, with the participation of the Civil and Military Authorities, Fire Brigade, Confraternity of the Addolorata, Maidens of St. Barbara and Faithful.
