Feast of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Alia
The Feast of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Alia is one of the most heartfelt and well-attended religious festivals by the population.
The cult of Our Lady of Grace is very ancient and was introduced by the Baroness Cifuentes Cilestri at the time of the foundation of the village.
The day of the liturgical celebration, July 2, is preceded by a busy religious program which culminates, on the day of the feast, with the solemn procession of the simulacrum of the Virgin, carried on the shoulders of devotees, through the streets of the center history.
Alongside the religious program, numerous side events are organized such as folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows.
