Feast of Santa Rosalia in Campofelice di Roccella

The Feast of Santa Rosalia in Campofelice di Roccella, the patron saint of the village, takes place in the first days of September.
The feast day is preceded by a triduum of preparation which includes a busy liturgical programme, and it culminates, on the feast day, with the solemn procession of the simulacrum of the Saint through the streets of the village.
On the morning of the feast day, the traditional rite of memory takes place during which the mayor recalls the war dead by placing a laurel wreath at the war memorial.
During the days of celebration there is also a rich recreational program with folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows.
