Feast of the SS. Crucifix in Ciminna
The Feast of the SS. Crocifisso a Ciminna takes place in the month of May and includes a program rich in faith and folklore.
It is a very ancient festival that has its origins in 1651 and is characterized by the traditional furriata ri torci, i.e. the tour of the torches, where ancient traditions and profound faith mix in a great folkloristic show: two groups each made up of seven mules perform the furriata i.e. the tours , in perfect synchrony, during which, accompanied by the music of the musical band and the cheers of the faithful, sweets are thrown to the crowd watching the show.
During the festive days, various collateral events are organized such as musical and entertainment shows , and the traditional sausage festival.
