Feast of the SS. Crucifix in Trabia
The Feast of the SS. Crocifisso in Trabia takes place on the last Sunday of September and is the most awaited religious festival, the Santissimo Crocifisso being the patron saint of the village.
The festival has ancient origins, linked to a miraculous event.
During the celebrations, the historical re-enactment of the discovery of a bronze cross by a fisherman and the solemn procession of the Simulacrum of the SS. Crucifix through the city streets.
On festive days, a rich recreational program is organized with drummers, a musical band, pyrotechnic games, stands, musical and entertainment shows.
