The Historical Day in San Marco D'Alunzio aims to embrace and revive different historical moments that have characterized the history of the village and of the whole of Sicily.
The party, organized in collaboration with the Historical Federation Sicilian, it sees the participation of the historical procession of San Marco D'Alunzio which recalls the ancient lineage of the Filangeri counts as well as the participation of various historical groups from all over Sicily, flag-wavers, musicians and medieval archers.

09:00 Presentation of the Palio competitors.
Piazza Aluntina
09:30 Holy Mass and blessing of the Palio.
Then the laying of the wreath at the war memorial by the Municipal Administration.
Chiesa madre San Nicola
11:00 Start of the Palio along the Via Aluntina, Roma, Aluntina and Piazza Aluntina.
At the end, awarding of the Palio to the winning knight and thanks.
