Medieval Festival of Motta
In the month of August, a suggestive Medieval Festival takes place in the village of Motta Sant'Anastasia where the three districts, that of the Masters, of the Vecchia Matrice and of the Panzera, each in their own territory carry out a series of events aimed at opening a window on the Middle Ages. The atmosphere is suggestive, the streets of the village, adorned with parades of drapes, flowers, banners and banners, meet flag-wavers and musicians, Arab and Norman characters, Swabians and Angevins, Aragonese and Navarrese, acrobats and wandering clerics, heretics and necromancers , gamblers and beggars, sellers and begging monks, jesters and fire eaters, drinkers and thieves, servants and gentlemen, witches and inquisitors, waders and jugglers.
