Infiorata a Marineo
The Infiornata in Marineo traditionally takes place on the occasion of the Corpus Domini celebrations. The festival is preceded by the so-called "Night of the floral display in Marineo" during which flower-adorned paintings are set up along the main street of the town.
During the religious celebrations, folk events and entertainment are also organised.
The The day of Corpus Domini in Marineo ends with a suggestive procession, which winds through the streets of the historic center where all the balconies are adorned with colored drapes, characterized by the throwing of flower petals along the way.
