The floral display of San Pier Niceto is set up every year on the occasion of the Corpus Domini celebrations.
It is a very ancient event that has its origins in the eighteenth century.
On the occasion of the floral display, it is set work of skilled flower masters, a long carpet of figurative paintings with a religious theme, made with flowers, leaves, petals, coffee, rice and sawdust.
The San Pier Niceto flower show is the most awaited event in the village, it transforms the entire village in a floral and perfumed carpet, and boasts the title of longest floral display in the world.
