Ottobrata in Zafferana Etnea
The Ottobrata Zafferanese takes place every Sunday in October in Zafferana Etnea.
On the occasion of this important event, in the main squares and in the town hall, many stands are set up with local handicraft products and tasting stands with typical local products: honey from Etna, Mostrarda, Etna wine, grapes, walnuts, finghi, cheeses and the many typical dishes of the Sicilian culinary tradition.
Traditionally, every Sunday of the Ottobrata is organized a festival: the Etna honey festival, the Etna apple festival, the Etna mushroom festival and the chestnut and wine festival.
Every Sunday naturalistic excursions are organized along the paths of Etna, exhibitions photographic, folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows.
