Living Nativity in Melilli
The Living Nativity of Melilli takes place in the evocative scenery of the eighteenth-century convent and garden of the Capuchin Friars Minor of Melilli.
The Christmas event that currently sees about 150 characters in Palestinian period costume, portrays arts, crafts, and costumes of the era in which Jesus was born, deliberately avoiding transpositions in successive periods or historical cocktails. The choice of fidelity to the historical era of the birth of Jesus was rewarded by the ever-increasing number of visits which exceeded 30,000 visitors.
The route has been made accessible to disabled people accompanied or in wheelchairs who have precedence over others visitors.
