Living Nativity Scene in Ragusa

The Living Nativity Scene of Ragusa takes place in the streets of the historic center of Ragusa.
The nativity scene, organized by the Parishes of SS. Hecce Homo and San Francesco di Paola, recreates ancient Bethlehem with bagpipe and bagpipe music, lighting effects, figures in period clothing, animals, traditional homes, old taverns, shops of ancient crafts and the stable of the Nativity.
The nativity scene is traditionally inaugurated with a procession of figures and culminates, on the day of the Epiphany, with the procession of the Three Kings.
During the days of the performances, moments of tasting and entertainment are organised.
