Living Nativity in Trapani

In Trapani, in the hamlet of Xitta, the evocative Medieval Living Crib takes place every year. The nativity scene is set up at Villa Pepoli, Sanctuary of the Madonna of Trapani.
The nativity scene is organized by the Cultural Association Trapani: tradumari&venti in collaboration with the Parish of San Lorenzo Levita of Xitta and with the patronage of the Municipality of Trapani.
The re-enactment of the Holy Nativity is set in the Middle Ages: drummers, flag-wavers and musicians make the atmosphere of this crib unique.
On Epiphany day the crib procession takes place with the Three Kings and the spectacular burning of the tower.
