Autumn Festival in Altolia - Messina
The Autumn Profumi Festival in Altolia, a small village in Messina, takes place in November and celebrates the typical products and dishes of the autumn season.
On the occasion of the event, various tasting stands are set up where you can find bread cunzatu (seasoned bread), pidoni, sandwiches with sausage, honey, roasted chestnuts, cheeses, first courses, and excellent local wine.
Folklore, musical and entertainment shows are also organised.
