Cherry and rose festival in Giarre
The Cherry and Rose Festival in Macchia di Giarre is an important culinary and folkloristic event that attracts numerous visitors every year.
The festival originates from an ancient peasant festival that was held in ancient times on the occasion of the collection of cherries. A characteristic of this event is the fact that folk groups from different locations in Sicily perform.
