Cherry Festival in Sant'Alfio

The Cherry Festival in Sant'Alfio celebrates the DOP Cherry of Etna, also known as the "Jewel Cherry of Etna".
During the festival, numerous stands are set up where you can taste the delicious Etna cherry together with other typical local products. Numerous events are also organised: the infiorata between flowers and fruit of Sant'Alfio, musical and folk performances, and the big cherry cake is prepared and offered.
