Cherry Festival in Graniti
The Cherry Festival in Graniti, scheduled in June, celebrates the cherry, an excellence of this area and many other products of the area.
The Graniti cherry is a very renowned product, much appreciated even abroad. Over ten varieties of cherries are produced in the Graniti area, particularly large, tasty and juicy, among which the Acquavene, Zuccherina, Durone and Ferrovia varieties stand out.
During the event, numerous stands are set up for tasting freshly picked cherries or dishes and desserts made with this fruit, as well as other stands with local products, typical local dishes, and with handicraft products.
