Festival of Guastedda in Mussomeli
The Guastedda Festival in Mussomeli takes place every year on December 8, on the occasion of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. During the festival it is possible to taste the traditional Guastedda di Mussomeli, a typical dessert of the feast of the Immaculate Conception.
The event aims to revive an ancient tradition of Mussomeli: in fact, once upon a time, on the eve of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the housewives spent the whole day preparing delicious Guastedde to share in an atmosphere of joyful celebration.
