Motta Camastra Walnut Festival
Every year in September / October the Sagra della Noce takes place in Motta Camastra, a symbol of high quality production, emblem of a lively and genuine peasant culture. Tasting stands of typical products are set up along the streets of the village: from the Motta Camastra walnut to the products of the earth. At "O 'chianu' a cruci", that is to say on the level of the cross, folkloristic presentations and shows take place and the traditional parade of His Majesty la Noce on Sicilian carts.
