Prickly Pear Festival in Alimena
The Prickly Pear and Masticuttè Festival in Alimena takes place in October and celebrates local excellences, in particular the prickly pear and the Masticattè, a traditional mustard prepared with prickly pear.
On the occasion of the gastronomic event a gastronomic journey is set up where you can taste dishes, liqueurs and desserts based on prickly pear, and masticuttè with cinnamon or toasted almonds.
On holidays, folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows are organised.
