Sagra del Mare a Sciacca
The traditional Sea Festival takes place in the ancient Marina district in conjunction with the feast of San Pietro, who is the patron saint of the district. The party takes place at the end of June and is announced in the middle of the same month with the raising of the tricolor flag to the Navy.
During the celebrations, the streets of the ancient neighborhood come alive with moments of entertainment, cabaret, exhibitions, music, the large pan of shrimp and the fish tastings. Popular games are held at the San Pietro quay, including the famous 'Ntinna a Mari installed on the internal eastern pier. The space in front of the Rocca Regina will welcome the stands where you can taste the excellence of Sicilian gastronomy and the many delicacies of the Sciacca sea. Guaranteed fun at the Luna Park, with many rides and games. The event usually ends late in the evening with the nose turned up to admire the fireworks.
