The Festival of Knowledge and Flavors of Matarocco in Marsala celebrates the culinary traditions of this area. The festival takes place in the Matarocco district, located on a hill behind the city, which takes its name from a traditional summer dish: matarocco, a condiment for pasta and bruschetta typical of the city of Marsala.
