Mpurnatu and Mpanata festival in Campobello di Licata
The Mpurnatu and Mpanata Festival in Campobello di Licata celebrates two typical dishes of the city: Mpurnatu, a timbale of pasta seasoned with meat sauce and pork and other ingredients; and the Mpanate, elongated puff pastries filled with cauliflower.
On the occasion of the event, numerous stands are set up for the tasting of these typical dishes of the Sicilian tradition, as well as stands with typical local products and handicrafts.
