Hazelnut Festival in Novara di Sicilia
The Hazelnut Festival in Novara di Sicilia takes place in the month of October in the ancient Cistercian village of Badiavecchia.
On the occasion of the event, stands are set up where you can taste numerous hazelnut-based specialties: hazelnut sausage, arancini hazelnut, nocciolino liqueur, sweets and many other specialties of the culinary tradition of Novara di Sicilia.
A market is also set up with local artisan products, and folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows are organised.
