Siccagno Tomato Festival in Corleone

Siccagno Fest in Corleone is the Corleonese Siccagno tomato festival and takes place every year in September.
The Siccagno tomato is so called because it is grown in the total absence of water. It is a tomato that ripens under the sun of July and August and has a very high level of lycopene, a powerful antioxidant.
During the days of the Siccagno tomato festival, a gastronomic village is set up where you can taste the siccagno tomato, numerous specialties made with it and typical local products.
On the occasion of the festival, folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows are also organised.
