Festival of Pitirri in Sutera

The Pitirri Festival in Sutera is a gastronomic event that celebrates the traditional dishes of the village. Pitirri is a typical dish of the Suterese tradition based on durum wheat semolina flour, expertly sifted by hand with the traditional sieve, and seasoned with wild herbs collected in the surroundings of the Suterese territory.

For the little ones and for adults, there will be an educational workshop where everyone can learn to prepare Pitirri and discover the secrets of this centuries-old culinary tradition.
