Street Food Festival in Casteldaccia
The Street Food Festival in Casteldaccia takes place every year in August on the occasion of the celebrations in honor of San Giuseppe. This is the most important gastronomic event of the Castel d'Accese summer.
On the occasion of the festival, a gastronomic village is set up with various tasting stands of typical local products and typical products of Sicilian street food: sandwiches with sausage or porchetta, stigliole, spleen, fried paranza as well as typical Sicilian sweets.
Itinerant shows are also organized through the streets of the historic center and folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows in the main part of the village.
