Vastedda festival in Capaci
The Vastedda Festival in Capaci takes place every year in November and celebrates the traditional focaccia seasoned with caciocavallo, anchovies, oil, salt and pepper.
On the occasion of the event, numerous stands of agricultural cooperatives will be set up which will sell their products harvested in land confiscated from the mafia, accompanied with various tastings offered to the public. Folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows are also organised.
