Wine Festival - Palio delle Botti
Eno Etna in Santa Venerina takes place in the month of September and is the festival dedicated to the DOC wines of Etna, agri-food products and local craftsmanship.< br>On the occasion of the event, a large village of Sicilian excellence in taste and craftsmanship is set up and a large tasting area.
The traditional palio delle botti is organized every year in which the village of Santa Venerina challenges other wine villages in the picturesque barrel race, a competition which sees participants pushing large barrels along the steep road in the historic centre.
The Palio delle Contrade, guided visits to the cellars and conferences are also organised. , folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows.
