The infiorata of the Scalinata di San Domenico "Art&Fiori" in Trapani is the longest-running event in the city. Traditionally it is set up in the month of May, but in recent years various events have been organized which allow you to admire this work of art and flowers also in other months of the year.
On the occasion of the event, the staircase leading to the Royal Church of San Domenico is transformed into a carpet of colorful flowers, and the whole historic center is colored with flowers and works of art. Numerous events enrich the event: performances by drummers, flag-wavers and musicians.
