Living Via Crucis in Roccapalumba
Every year in Roccapalumba, on the occasion of Santa Easter, the representation of the Living Via Crucis takes place. The event, organized by the San Filippo Neri Theater Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Roccapalumba and the Parish of SS. Peter and Paul, is a combination of tradition, emotion and faith.
The sacred representation involves over eighty figures in period costume who stage the most significant moments of the Passion of Jesus, from Jesus' entrance to Jerusalem up to the Crucifixion which takes place in the suggestive scenery at the foot of the majestic fortress that overlooks the town.
