Cala Cinque Denti in Pantelleria
The Cala Cinque Denti is a small gulf a few kilometers away from the inhabited center of Pantelleria, located between Punta Pozzolana and the little lake of the waves. Its name five teeth derives from the jagged nature of its coast.
It is a bay sheltered from the Scirocco winds where numerous boats stop. From Cala Cinque Denti it is possible to swim to Cinderella's Scarpetta, a wonderful cave accessible only from the sea.
It is recommended to reach the bay by sea as access by land is not very easy because the coast, made up of rocks collapsed from the cliff, is very steep in some places.
