The water reaches 40 ° and is made to flow into two tanks, one of which communicates with the sea. The vault of the cave is made of pumice stone, while the pavement is made of bricks.
The cave has its history in legend: it seems that it was the place where Ulysses met the Goddess Calypso. Its name derives from the Greek and means health , its waters were in fact famous since ancient times as a cure for rheumatic pains and arthritis.
The cave, located between the locality of Cimillia and Punta Tre Pietre, on the perimeter road towards Scauri, is easily accessible by a staircase that starts from the perimeter.
