Cala Acquario in Ustica

Caletta Aquario Santoro in Ustica is a small cove with a small black sand beach divided by a concrete platform. Cala Acquario is located on the western side of the island within the Marine Protected Area of Ustica Island and, together with Cala Sidoti, is one of the only bathing areas allowed within Zone A of the integral reserve.
La cala is ideal for families with children given the presence of the concrete platform and is bathed by a crystalline sea ideal for snorkelers.
The cove owes its name to a disused building which was the seat of Ustica Aquarium. There is a small kiosk at the entrance to the path leading to the beach.
