Cala San Paolo in Ustica
Cala San Paolo di Ustica, one of the most beautiful coves on the island, is located in the southern part of Ustica. A few meters from Cala San Paolo and reachable by swimming, there is the Grotta delle Barche.
Cala San Paolo is also an ideal destination for diving enthusiasts: sheltered from the prevailing winds it is possible to make a suggestive wall dive and admire the underwater spectacle of a fissure whose walls are covered with orange, purple and yellow spongy incrustations.
Cala San Paolo can be reached on foot along the Sentiero del Mezzogiorno among the luxuriant Mediterranean scrub.
