Gold Cave in Ustica
The Grotta dell’Oro di Ustica, located in the northern part of the island, is characterized by a color ranging from yellowish to reddish. The Golden Cave owes its name to this color.
The cave has a wide and easy entrance even for boats. The cave entirely has no beach or landings and is formed by a single environment with sinuous walls that are thrown directly into the water. The contrast between the yellow-reddish color of the walls and the blue of the water is very striking.
