Volcanological Museum of Ustica
The Volcanological Museum of Ustica collects numerous volcanites, various volcanic products formed under water and a malacofauna typical of the equatorial seas. The exhibition itinerary is enriched by various illustrative panels that illustrate the birth and evolution of the island starting about one million years ago when the formation of the submarine volcanic cone on the bottom of the Southern Tyrrhenian began. The exhibition itinerary ends with a holographic pyramid inside which three-dimensional images of different eruptions are composed.
The volcanological museum of Ustica is located at the Rocca della Falconiera.
