Underwater Archeology Sites in Ustica
In the waters of Ustica there are two underwater archeology sites.
A first underwater archaeological itinerary is found in the area of Punta Cavazzi. A path has been created on the site adequately marked and illustrated through didactic panels that describe the objects left in their original position. There are anchor stocks and ceramic materials referable to different eras.
A second underwater archeology site, located 200 meters from the coast of Ustica and 80 meters deep, houses an intact Roman wreck and a large heap of amphorae which will soon be exhibited in situ.
