White Beach in Lipari
The White Beach in Lipari, also known as Papesca Beach, is located in the north-eastern area of the island, in the area of the obsidian and pumice quarries. It is a beach with a white coast due to the high presence of pumice wet by clear and crystalline waters.
Along the road that leads to the beach, you can still see the piers once used to bring the material extracted from the quarries to ships and the ruins of the mining infrastructure.
