Malfa Village in Salina
The Borgo di Malfa is located on the northern coast of the island of Salina, in the valley between Monte Rivi and Monte Porri.
According to tradition, the village was founded by Amalfi immigrants in the 12th century who they called it "Malfa" from "Amalfi".
The small village is dotted with small white houses that rise along a steep slope that slides towards the sea. In Malfa there is a small pebble beach with lava boulders and a small port called Scario Galera suitable for the landing of small boats. In the main square is the church of Sant’Anna, dating back to the eighteenth century.
