Mulberry Lighthouse in Vulcano
The Faro di Gelso a Vulcano was built in the second half of the 19th century. The first available image of this building is a drawing made by the Archduke Luigi Salvatore of Habsburg Lorraine, at the end of the 19th century. The lighthouse, located near the ancient church of the Madonna delle Grazie, will be used as a museum of the sea and the Aeolian navy.
