Acque Calde beach in Vulcano
The Spiaggia delle Acque Calde, also known as Spiaggia delle Fumarole, is characterized by particular phenomena of secondary volcanism that make its waters warmer and the bathing experience decidedly relaxing , similar to a whirlpool. In fact, in the seabed there are fumaroles, emissions of sulfur gas from the earth's crust. The Spiaggia delle Acque Calde has a coastline with fine black sand and a gently sloping seabed. However, entry into the water is not always due to the presence of some rocks on the seabed.
The coast has stretches of free beach and stretches with equipped beaches and is easily accessible.
