Baia Negra Beach in Vulcano
The Spiaggia di Baia Negra , also known as Spiaggia di Sabbie Nere , is the symbolic beach of Vulcano , famous worldwide for the black color of its sand of volcanic origin. The play of colors and lights is extremely suggestive and unique: the black of the sand contrasts with the blue of the clear and crystalline waters. The seabed is shallow and slopes gently towards the open sea.
