Rock of the Sail in Lampedusa
The Scoglio della Vela in Lampedusa, together with the Sacramento rock, is the main and characteristic rock of the island. The stack, with its characteristic sail shape, is located at the foot of the highest point of the island, the Albero Sole. The stack offers a very suggestive sight, surrounded by clear and turquoise waters, and by flocks of seagulls circling around it.
