Bastione neighborhood in Caronia
The name of the neighborhood is due to the presence of the ancient defense walls of Caronia. Partially integrated into a private home, you can see the ancient city walls dating back to the construction period of the castle. Being the point of the highest walls, they gave a better impression of a defense bastion and from this the name of the neighborhood derives.
