Ethno-anthropological Museum in Castanea delle Furie
The ethno-anthropological museum "I ferri du mysteries", or "the tools of the trade", of Castanea delle Furie is located in the premises of the ancient Lentini Pharmacy, which belonged to Dr. Francesco Lentini famous for the vast set of eighteenth-century ceramic vases on display today at the Regional Museum of Messina.
The museum "I ferri du mysteries" is one of the most prestigious Sicilian ethno-anthropological and demological museums of rural art, of the peasant and seafaring civilization of the Peloritani.
The Museum, a private institution, presents hundreds of “artifacts” from the past, which today can be used and which receive the continuous visit of scholars and enthusiasts from all over the world. The diversity and plurality of the objects contained in the museum are extremely interesting.
